Project Ping-Pong: A Studio Update Full of Small Joys

Lately, I’ve been bouncing between a bunch of small projects and caught myself feeling like none of them were “enough,” which is just my brain overthinking because those small studio rambles are usually what keep me inspired. I’m learning to accept that bouncing is simply how I’m wired. (My mom calling me Tigger was probably the first clue.) The more I pay attention, the more I realize the good stuff tends to live in the messy middle, and the best ideas are forever hiding in the zigs between the zags.
One of those projects: I finished recreating the 1940s baby quilt I became enamored with on Pinterest a few weeks ago. It came together from scraps plus a couple of fat quarters I treated myself to. I sewed more squares than I needed because I couldn’t stop rearranging them; just trying to capture that warm, nostalgic feel of the original.
