A journalist once asked why I made "outdated" paper begonias. Seriously? That was news to me! I just said I loved them and still do. Makes me wonder, do plants really go out of style? Nah. All plants, paper or not, deserve love! So, I'm sharing some DIY paper plant tips and a brand-new begonia maculata template to turn you into a rebel like me!
One of my favorite plants to make is the angel wing (Begonia maculata), also known as the polka-dot begonia. Its spotted leaves are striking and endearing in the best way. The photo on the left above was a particular example (from Pinterest, of course) that I swooned over, so I made my own plant-portrait version on the right.
